Intended Learning Outcomes:
The participants will:
  • Participate in Professional Development Critical Friend and Team Building and Norm Building
  • Investigate the Framework for student learning by asking ourselves about what competencies would be importan
  • Investigate in the Digital Citizenship and how can we implement these lessons into our teaching
  • Revisit the ICT outcomes and create a document to share with teachers
  • Continue to get updates from various sources
  • Explore new web 2.0 tools

Critical Friend and Base Group Team Building
  • Part 1 (Individual): 10 minutes – personal reflection on the questions provided
    • List 2 things you are most excited about as a Tech Coach this year?
    • List 2 elements for successful implementation of technology in your school
    • How can your critical friend’s and base group support each other through the year?

  • Part 2 (Critical Friend Share)
    • Go over the critical friend sheet then...
    • Discuss the above answers with your critical friend
    • Get an update of what critical friend is going to for the November long weekend

  • Part 3 (Base Group Discussion)
    • Discuss your thoughts on the above questions as a group
    • Record group thoughts on the google documents form (please not there are 2 additional tasks on the documents)
    • Google Form for Base Groups
    • Group Sharing

  • Establish Norms for your base group

  • Battery replacement for projector remotes are school responsibility
  • LearnAlberta CDD - St. Elizabeth had a problem are any other schools experiencing any issues
  • Laptop carts charging in designatged outlets only. It to label
  • Portal usuage are staff using the portal
  • Website issues to go the person responsible for the content at the school and not IT or Jeanne
  • 97% of all e-mails receivd are spam. Just 3% are not detected as spam. If you get spam please delete
